When it comes to nutritional choices for the Aquarium, there is an abundance. Live Nutrition describes the subcategory of live feeder options that have good nutritional value for your tank mates! They breed quickly and prolifically so keeping a small feeder supply can be done relatively easily in a small aquarium. Great lure for fishing, stimulates natural feeding response in fish, and offers enrichment by allowing fish to practice natural habits. Great snack for turtles and garter snakes as well! Feed about a dozen+ depending on fish’ appetite and size.

Ghost Shrimp

They have high nutritional value, and can be offered to a different array of fish of all sizes in both fresh and salt water aquariums as a treat or as part of a varied balanced diet. Crayfish

Great for aggressive, predatory fish in both fresh and salt water aquariums. It’s hard exoskeleton helps aid any overgrowth on fish teeth and helps stimulate appetite and natural feeding response and provides fish with enrichment by promoting natural habits. Great for finicky eaters and or new imports who have not transitioned to processed foods. Feed about 1-2 once to twice a week depending on fish, growth rate and appetite.

Black Worms

Black worms are a nutritious choice of food for a variety of different aquatic life. This can include tropical fish, salamanders, tadpoles, newts, and even baby turtles. This live food option helps the pickiest of aquatic life obtain a solid diet. These are small enough for all tropical fish to enjoy. Live Black worms contain a high protein content, excellent for picky eaters and breeding preparations. Sold in ounce like portions, Black worms can be housed in the refrigerator until ready to use in the aquarium.
